17:23 That shriek
There's some very interesting energy between Ran and Sonoko in this episode.

another episode where subbers just filled in whatever seemed fitting to them rather than actually translating whats being said.

Sekai • 2 years ago

U complaining? If so, get out of this website where you can watch free anime all day or you can translate your own since you can understand japanese. You've been complaining about bad subs and not complementing good subs, oh, since we're humans who notices small bad things and not appreciating the good things. Maybe the perk of not knowing japanese is that you won't know what's being said and just continue watching since the sub and the action of the characters connect.

or, the site administrator could quit picking files by sub-par fansub groups and only pick the ones that can write English worth a crap. i've been watching Conan since March of this year. i completed the Funimation 130 ep English dub and immediately moved into the subtitled ones. so far, and i'm up to episode 457 now, there are only two Conan fansub groups that gogo has used which are worth a crap. Kaizou and Detective Conan Translation Project. all the rest of the groups' work is barely passable running in a steep downwards slope to truly craptastical dumpster fires.

i've been watching anime since 1990. btw that's nine years before Conan's first ever broadcast. so i know a good bit more about anime than the average fan. sub-groups come and go sometimes faster than the actual shows' next new episode(s) the group is working on. there will often be a coherent core to the fansub group, and several tertiary helpers who take on roles and do tasks on an 'as available schedule'. other groups are actual semi-professional (at least in work ethic) and they stick to their roles and jobs quite well.
